Spring Cleanup Date Set! Saturday, May 11th will be the date of our 2019 lake cleanup event! We will gather at the Grandview boat launch promptly at 10:00 am, divide and conquer on foot and on water to remove trash from the lake! Meet back at noon for a pizza lunch. More details will come via email as we get closer to the event.

Winter Newsletter Has Been Distributed! We have recently sent out a winter edition of our bi-annual printed newsletter. If you did not receive yours and you are a DLA member or live on the watershed, please contact us to make sure we have the correct address.

National Night Out & Storm Draining Event Our first National Night Out / Night to Unite event in August was a success! Neighbors gathered, new friends were made, educational materials and dog waste bags were distributed, and we even were able to paint a "no dumping" message on storm drains surrounding Philbrook Park! Lake Cleanup 2018
Spring 2018 Cleanup on May 12, 2018 was another great success! Huge thanks to everyone who made it out to help clean up our lake...we appreciate you!! I've saved some of the more "interesting" finds to turn into a traveling trophy for next year....raising the stakes in 2019! Haha!

Lake Cleanup 2018
Our Annual Lake Cleanup was another great success in 2018! Huge thanks to everyone who came out and helped beautify our lake!

Our Fall BBQ had a great turnout and was a great time to catch up, share ideas, and look at MCWD's comprehensive plan over great food!

MCWD's Watershed Management Plan is available for comments! We've got a copy of it HERE for you to download. Pages 86-102 contain what they know about Dutch Lake, and pages 360-373 outline their plan for Dutch Lake.

Dutch Lake Community Garage Sales were held again in 2017 on Thursday, June 8th through Saturday, June 10th. Thanks to those who participated!

We've been Retroactively Reinstated as a Non-Profit organization! Huge thanks to our treasurer John Kelly for his countless hours dedicated to this long and tedious process!! This new status opens up countless doors for us in the way of receiving funds to better our lake.

boat in movieBoat-In Movie Night was hosted by the Lachenmayers on July 3rd and was SO much fun! Lake residents hung out both on the shoreline and in their anchroed vessels to watch The Incredibles play on the big screen while enjoying popcorn. BIG thanks to the Lachenmayers for putting on this cool event!

2016 Neighborhood Garage Sales were held May 19-21! We couldn't have asked for better weather. Seven homes around the lake participated. What a great way to get some spring cleaning done!

lake cleanup 20162016 Spring Lake Cleanup on May 14 was a huge success! Thank you to all of those who came out and donated their time, trucks, trailers, boats, trash bags, and equipment to haul trash out of our lake! We pulled out tires, metal pipes, a shovel, flip flops, life jacket, a boat hull, tons of little stuff and even a huge shag carpet!

bbq sept 20152015 DLA BBQ / Potluck The Fleeners hosted a fall bbq and potluck on September 17th! It was a great opportunity to discuss the future of the association while getting to know more of our fellow lake neighbors!

DLA Garage Sales We had great weather for garage sales May 7th-9th! Weren't able to participate this year? Start saving up your unwanted "stuff" for next spring as we are planning another one for 2016 and hope to get more participation!

New DLA Leadership Announced! We are excited to announce that Ron Hagen has stepped up to act as our Vice President, and John Kelly will be our association's treasurer. Thanks so much for your service and dedication to our lake!

We have an Ice-Out winner! Congratulations to Steve Johnson for being the closest guest to ice out day! Ice was out on March 31st, 2015, and Steve guessed April 1st!

The city of Mound held a special meeting with the Met Council regarding our sewer system on Thursday, December 11th at 6:30 pm.

The city of Mound is setting up an email alert system to contact residents in the case of emergencies, such as this past summer's sewer backups. To opt in, click here!
